Bayern Munich’s coach Thomas Tuchel has openly admitted that Sadio Mane fell short of the expectations, that were place upon him after his arrival from Liverpool last summer.<\/p>\n
The Bavarians are preparing to sell Mane for only 20 million euros, despite acquiring him for double that price last year.<\/p>\n
Speaking in his first press conference ahead of the new season, Tuchel reflected on the striker’s difficulties at his new club.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe competitive situation is extremely high, the starting position is not easy for him.\u201d Tuchel said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe player knows that too, he knows my opinion and the opinion of the club.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bayern have another reason to sell Mane and that is to gather enough funds to facilitate a desired move for Harry Kane.<\/p>\n
