Doc Rivers has enjoyed an illustrious career as a NBA coach, leading Celtics to their first title for 30 year in 2008 and faring well in regular season at Boston, the Clippers and the 76ers.<\/p>\n
However, he has struggled to materialize that when it most matters – in the postseason games, where he hasn’t had much success after 2008.<\/p>\n
After receiving the axe from Philadelphia Rivers commented on his prospects for the new 2023-24 campaign.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know what I’m gonna do,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m just gonna enjoy life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Asked about his plans in general, Rivers deflected the questions, stating he “just enjoys life” at the moment.<\/p>\n
Rivers, named one of the NBA\u2019s 15 Greatest Coaches during the league\u2019s 75th anniversary season in Feb. 2022, hasn\u2019t taken a full season off since 1999.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
