It was very likely that the wide receiver would leave the Jets in the offseason because he didn\u2019t score a touchdown in his 3 campaigns with the team in the NFL.<\/p>\n<p>Denzel was 5<sup>th<\/sup> or even 6<sup>th<\/sup> option receiver in the franchise, and he didn\u2019t appear on special teams, as that made him not wanted by New York.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The New York Jets send the WR Denzel Mims to the Detroit Lions.
