Manchester City and RB Leipzig have not reached an agreement about Josko Gvardiol and as per reports it seems unlikely the Citizens will acquire the young Croatian.<\/p>\n
The 21-year-old is valued very highly – around the region of \u00a386m and if such a deal is to be made then he would become the most expensive defender in football’s history.<\/p>\n
“A lot has been written and the latest information about Josko surprised us all.” Leipzig’s sports director Max Eberl said.<\/p>\n
“Currently we’re still very far apart.”<\/p>\n
“There is no agreement, not even remotely an agreement.”<\/p>\n
Gvardiol was instrumental for his team’s strong running last campaign and for Croatia strong run in the World Cup, where they finished in 3rd place.<\/p>\n
