Lewis Hamilton did not have many reasons to smile as he finished the practice session at the Hungarian Grand Prix in 16th, way off the leaders’ pace.<\/p>\n
The 7-time world champion didn’t hide away his frustration as he said that the car felt “at its worst”.<\/p>\n
Another reason for Hamilton’s woes is the new ruling for tire allocation, which forces drivers and teams to use limited amount of tire sets.<\/p>\n
Reigning champion Max Verstappen, who finished a surprising 11th also complained about the new rule.<\/p>\n
“I only had one tyre. Not really a great format this change they made for this weekend.” Hamilton said.<\/p>\n
“It just means we get less running. Not ideal. There are a lot of wet tires they throw away every weekend – a lot. Maybe they should look at that rather than taking time on track away from the fans.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
