Damian Lillard is still a hot topic as to where his future lies after the 33-year-old requested a trade from the Portland Trail Blazers.<\/p>\n
Many believe that Lillard is bound to sign with Miami, but not all are impressed with the point guard’s decision.<\/p>\n
Austin Rivers is one of those names, calling Lillard’s trade request in his recent podcast “bad for the league”.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you\u2019re a free agent then you can choose where you\u2019re gonna go. That\u2019s the business. But when you\u2019re not and you sign a deal … that\u2019s part of the business. If you get traded somewhere, you gotta go play,\u201d said Rivers.<\/p>\n
Despite that Rivers praised Lillard’s game, stating he is one of the toughest opponents he ever faced.<\/p>\n
