Tony was bought out by Philadelphia 10 days ago.<\/p>\n<p>DeAngelo was previously part of Carolina for 1 campaign in 2021-22, where he notched 10 goals and earned 51 points in 64 matches and 10 points in 14 postseason matches.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;DeAngelo is an elite offensive defenseman who had a phenomenal campaign with our organization in 2021-22,&#8221; Carolina president and GM Don Waddell shared. &#8220;We wanted to re-ink him a year ago, and now we\u2019re happy to bring him back to Raleigh.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A 1<sup>st<\/sup> round selection (19<sup>th<\/sup> overall) by the Tampa Bay Lightning at the 2024 NHL Draft, Tony was sent to the Arizona Coyotes in the summer of 2016, where he played for 1 year.
