He capped 33 goals and 57 assists in total, helping the Reds win a Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and 2 Carabao Cups.<\/p>\n<p>The 33-year-old will reunite with his former teammate Steven Gerrard, who is the manager of Al-Ettifaq. The pair were together at Liverpool, before Gerrard announced his retirement in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I know it was a really, really tough decision for Hendo and I was around or with him all the way,&#8221; said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s sad, absolutely strange, because he is the only captain I had here at Liverpool, but I think it is exciting for him as well.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will miss him, without a shadow of a doubt, that&#8217;s clear &#8211; as a man and as a player.
