The Milawaukee Brewers have put right-hander Julio Teheran on the 15-day injured list with a right hip impingement.<\/p>\n
The 32-year-old sustained the injury in Saturday’s 11-5 loss to Atlanta Braves, where Teharan allowed 9 runs on 11 hits in five innings.<\/p>\n
Teheran, who has clocked 4.74 ERA in 11 games, has lost his last three decisions.<\/p>\n
In his place the Brewers have recalled Peter Strzelecki from Triple-A Nashville. The 28-year-old is with a 4.54 ERA in 36 games, all in relief, with Milwaukee before he was optioned to Nashville on June 28.
