Chelsea are interested in signing Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forrest, a deal, which could rise up to \u00a350m.<\/p>\n
Johnson has been a long term target for the Blues and it seems likely the 22-year-old finds himself at Stamford Bridge any time soon.<\/p>\n
However, if that were to happen Chelsea must meet the \u00a350m price tag, set by Nottingham for the Welsh international.<\/p>\n
Another concern for the 22-year-old is the playing time he will be receiving at Stamford Bridge, considering Chelsea’s loaded squad.<\/p>\n
Johnson played in all of Forrest games last campaign as they narrowly avoided relegation. He was the team’s second-highest goal-scorer.<\/p>\n
He currently has three years on his contract, which ties him with the club until 2026.<\/p>\n
