They were replaced by Puma, before Castore took over in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The deal was meant to be announced on September 1, but leaked footage of the club&#8217;s Amazon Primer documentary gave intel into the ongoing situation.<\/p>\n<p>Newcastle&#8217;s current deal with Castore is due to run beyond the end of this season, meaning it is likely to be cut short in order to make way for Adidas.<\/p>\n<p>The Magpies are having a decent start to the new campaign as they thrashed Aston Vila 5-1 in the opening round and lost 1-0 to Manchester City on Saturday night as they aim to retain their Champions League spot they earned last campaign.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Newcastle are set to wear Adidas kit in 2024-25 after agreeing a five-year deal with the German company.
