Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo shared that he doesn\u2019t want to ink a deal extension when he becomes eligible in September and that he won\u2019t ink one until he\u2019s sure knowing the franchise will continue to compete for a title.<\/p>\n
The Greek player told the NY Times that “numbers-wise, it doesn’t make sense” shared that the Bucks still have something to prove before he potentially inks an extension after the end of the current campaign.<\/p>\n
“Next summer would be a better time to consider the extension. Even then, I\u2019m not sure,” Giannis claimed in the interview. “I would not be the best version of myself if I didn’t know that everybody wants the same, everybody’s going for a title, everybody’s going to sacrifice time away from their family as I do. And if that\u2019s not the case, I’m not inking.”<\/p>\n
