Ange Postecoglou expressed his support for Richarlison and backed him up to succeed at Tottenham Hotspur despite the Brazilian struggles.<\/p>\n
The 26-year-old is viewed from many as Harry Kane’s departure, but so far the Brazilian has failed to live up to the expectation.<\/p>\n
However, new team boss Postecoglou emphasized that such comparisons are “pointless” since Kane is no longer at the club and bears no relevance to the situation.<\/p>\n
“I don’t know that there’s that much of a burden there to carry. Ultimately, this football club needed to change,” Postecoglou said.<\/p>\n
“I think everyone at the club’s got to grips that Harry is gone. He’s gone off to a new challenge and I’m sure he’ll do very well over there. We’ve got our own challenge now.”<\/p>\n
“I don’t think there’s any use in comparing yourself to something that’s no longer here and is no longer relevant.”<\/p>\n
