Bronny James is set to make a return to basketball after doctors have identified the heart issue he has been carrying since birth.<\/p>\n
The 18-year-old suffered a serious cardiac arrest last month during practice of his University of Southern California.<\/p>\n
The youngster was discharged from hospital 3 days later.<\/p>\n
“We are very confident in Bronny’s full recovery and return to basketball in the very near future,” the family said in a statement.<\/p>\n
“We will continue to provide updates to media and respectfully reiterate the family’s request for privacy.”<\/p>\n
