Charles Leclerc has given his team Ferrari a hurry-up call to start working on the new 2024 car and to leave the upgrades for 2023 behind.<\/p>\n
Leclerc struggled at the Dutch Grand Prix, where he retired from P15, but he was unable to extract any sort of performance from his car.<\/p>\n
Carlos Sainz fared much better, but still managed only P5, just holding off the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s great to hear that and obviously I can\u2019t wait,\u201d said Leclerc. \u201cFirst, I\u2019ve got a season to finish in 2023, but we can only go in another direction because at the moment the car is really difficult to drive. It\u2019s just very, very difficult to be on the limit.”<\/p>\n
\u201cI think we are particularly struggling this weekend and even more so than what the balance would slow us down, just because we need to be so far off the limit. As soon as you get close to the limit, you just really don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen.
