But then it all fell apart as Alcaraz not only saved the game on his serve, but also collected all 3 remaining games to clinch the set 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>From then onwards, the Spaniard never looked back and produced his usual high quality tennis to dispatch his opponent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(If) I could have broken, it could have gone my way. It didn\u2019t,\u201d Zverev emphasized the importance of that moment in the seventh game. \u201cEven though I lost the first set, I thought it was going to be a competitive match. I thought my level was there. I thought his level was there. I thought it was going to be a fun one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz now faces a tough opposition in the 1\/2 finals against top-ranked Russian Daniil Medvedev, who lifted the trophy in 2021.
