Jenni Hermoso has decided to file a legal complaint against Spanish FA president Luis Rubiales following the controversial kiss during the World Cup celebration.<\/p>\n
Rubiales could face a 4-year prison sentence if he is to be fund guilty of sexual assault.<\/p>\n
The 46-year-old kissed the Spanish player on the lips, which she states was not consensual.<\/p>\n
A statement from the national prosecutor’s office said: “Jennifer Hermoso filed an express complaint for the facts that you all know.<\/p>\n
“The national court’s prosecutor’s office will file a complaint as soon as possible. The statement took place at the state attorney general’s office to protect the privacy of the victim.”<\/p>\n
Rubiales has received preliminary suspension by FIFA and many, including the men’s national team, have deemed his behavior as incorrect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
