It also includes a 10-team no-trade clause for the final three years.<\/p>\n<p>Sanderson was selected fifth overall in the 2020 NHL draft and he played one year at the University of North Dakota before turning pro last year.<\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old made 77 appearances, notching 4 goals and 28 assists with 21:55 average play time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJake\u2019s transition to the pro game has been flawless,\u201d Ottawa Senators GM Pierre Dorion said in a statement. \u201cHe\u2019s a very mature young man who demonstrates a routine and skillful ability to play important minutes with poise.
