Mohamed Salah will likely be staying with Liverpool after the Saudi Pro League seems to have given up on its pursuit , even though they were prepared to splash out \u00a3200m for the Reds striker.<\/p>\n
Despite their firm effort to lure the Egyptian into Al-Ittihad, Liverpool have remained firm in their position that the striker is not for sale.<\/p>\n
The transfer window in Saudi Arabia shuts down at 10pm today and if not short of a miracle were to happen, Salah will remain a Liverpool player.<\/p>\n
Al-Ittihad are reportedly still prepared to make one last ditch effort to sign the Egyptian but those close to the Saudis say they are giving up hope.<\/p>\n
“I never had any doubt about his commitment. He is our player and wants to play here.” said the Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.<\/p>\n
