rel=\"noopener\">#Patriots<\/a> are signing QB Bailey Zappe to the 53-man roster, per source.<\/p>\n<p>So after two weeks of drama, it appears New England is back to the original depth chart and Zappe will back up Mac Jones on Sunday vs. the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Eagles?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#Eagles<\/a>. <a src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Bailey, who spent the last week with the organization\u2019s practice squad, will be the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> choice for the quarterback position after <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/nfl\/player\/mac-jones\/\">Mac Jones<\/a> in Sunday\u2019s campaign-opening match vs. the defending NFC champ Philadelphia Eagles.<\/p>\n<p>Zappe had been released at the final roster cutdown at the end of the last month, and 2 days later, the Pats claimed QB Corral on waivers from the Carolina Panthers, giving him Bailey\u2019s spot on the roster.<\/p>\n<p>But he was missing from the New England\u2019s practice yesterday, which was a great sign that Zappe would replace him.<\/p>\n<p>Manager Bill Belichick also
