Adam becomes the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> player to captain the Jets since the franchise relocated to its current location, after Wheeler and Andrew Ladd.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I heard that I would be the new captain, I was very happy, almost a little speechless. It\u2019s something every kid grows up dreams of and seems almost impossible,\u201d Adam shared.<\/p>\n<p>Lowry added that he is proud of being captain of a Canadian NHL franchise and can\u2019t wait to lead his teammates during the new campaign.
