This is a drop of as much as 378 million and it is still unclear how Barcelona can handle this situation.<\/p>\n<p>The club has already reduced its wage bill by 160 million, but must make a much bigger effort to cover the new demands. This did not allow the club to make big transfers in the summer. It seems that Barcelona will not be competitive with Real Madrid soon, where the salary cap is 727.5 million euros.
