He had small-market achievements with Tampa Bay.<\/p>\n<p>But several months after he joined the Red Sox, Bloom exchanged star outfielder Mookie Betts with the LA Dodgers. The trade hung over his tenure as the organization sandwiched last-place finishes around 2021, which took Houston to 6 matches in the ALCS.
