The player is also very much part of the Washington Capitals.<\/p>\n<p>After a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> down campaign in 3 campaigns and another off-season of trade rumors, Kuznetsov&#8217;s remaining part of the Capitals squad never seemed given. Now that Evgeny\u2019s back at training camp and nothing has changed with his place, he claimed that he likes to be part of the Capitals and that the new manager will help him to return his form from his best years in the NHL.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m in high spirits and feel very strong mentally,\u201d Kuznetsov shared after the 1<sup>st<\/sup> on-ice camp session. \u201cEverything starts from the stretch for the whole franchise, and I\u2019m working daily on my personal goals. I want to help the organization. I want to make the fans happy. I want Capitals to be successful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Washington GM Brian MacLellan claimed that they need Kuznetsov and his competitiveness.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Evgeny Kuznetsov walked with a pretty pronounced limp as he came to the podium after practice. \u201cI\u2019m just faking it,\u201d he cracked before turning serious \u201cIt\u2019s all good.
