The New Orleans Saints’ quarterback Derek Carr will be checked for a potential shoulder injury after the painful 18-17 loss against the Packers on Sunday.<\/p>\n
There have been concerns that the 32-year-old might have damaged his right shoulder, but details are yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n
Head-coach Dennis Allen said that Carr is getting X-rays at the moment, but refused to elaborate further.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s being evaluated,\u201d Allen said. \u201cI can\u2019t tell you really any more than that. It\u2019s a shoulder injury. He\u2019s being evaluated. When we know what it is, we\u2019ll let you know.\u201d<\/p>\n
After getting sacked by Rashan Gary, Carr remained on the ground for a few minutes before leaving the field under his own power. He was checked out in the blue medical tent before heading to the locker room.<\/p>\n
The news is a huge blow for the Saints, who have were sailing 17-0, but were completely blown away 18-0 without their star player.<\/p>\n
