Wagers placed by players on any NFL match will result in at least a 1 campaign ban.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\ud835\uddd5\ud835\udde5\ud835\uddd8\ud835\uddd4\ud835\uddde\ud835\udddc\ud835\udde1\ud835\uddda: An <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/NFL?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#NFL<\/a> player who bets on games involving their own team will now be suspended indefinitely for TWO seasons, via <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jjones9?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@jjones9<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The NFL and NFLPA have also agreed to heightened punishment overall for players betting on games. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/xyrduKoEDJ\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/xyrduKoEDJ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 JPAFootball (@jasrifootball) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jasrifootball\/status\/1707837990653845682?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">September 29, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Wagering on other sports while at the franchise facility or on organization-related travel will now result in a 2-match ban for a 1<sup>st<\/sup> violation, 6 matches for a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> violation, and at least 1 season for a 3<sup>rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>This will help Williams and Tennessee Titans OT Nick Petit-Frere to be able to play in the NFL from Monday.
