He was also responsible for bringing\u00a0 catcher Gabriel Moreno and outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. to the franchise, a part of the team&#8217;s major rebuild in recent times.<\/p>\n<p>His biggest success in that area is unquestionably bringing rookie Corbin Carroll on an 8-year deal, worth $111 m, despite limited experience in the big league.
