Borussia Dortmund head coach Edin Terzic admitted the Germans lacked attacking efficiency in their 0-0 draw with visiting AC Milan in their Champions League Group F second-round tie.<\/p>\n
AC Milan are third after two goalless draws, while England’s Newcastle United go top with four points, a point ahead of Paris Saint-Germain, after a 4-1 win over the French side in the other leg of the round.<\/p>\n
“Overall, I’m happy with our performance. The boys were very active. They tried everything. We pressed well, won a lot of balls, but we didn’t manage to create very good situations. We lacked precision in the final third of the pitch, we didn’t make the right decisions. We had some situations , which could have led to a goal, but we made mistakes in the last pass or in the finishing shot. That’s why the draw is fair,” said Terzic.<\/p>\n
AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli shared the same problems for his team. “We lacked efficiency in front of the opponent’s goal and in the first half we were not perfect technically. It’s a shame, we wanted to win this match,” he told Prime Video.<\/p>\n
“It was a European game with a lot of attacking moments. We try to bring our ideas into the game because in Europe the pace is high. They are a strong team but we did well,” Pioli added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
