Daniel Jones has missed second consecutive practice session with the New York Giants on Thursday and it seems unlikely the quarterback will make a return against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.<\/p>\n
The Giants coach Brian Dabol refused to give detailed information about Jones’ condition and said his status will be determined in the next couple of days.<\/p>\n
Jones sustained the injury during 31-16 loss to Miami last Sunday. The 26-year-old is no stranger to such issues as he missed the final 6 games of the 2021 season with the exactly the same problem. However, he said that this time is not as serious as from 2 years ago.<\/p>\n
Jones is 104 of 151 for 884 yards, two touchdowns and six interceptions this season. He has been sacked 28 times playing behind a line decimated by injuries. The sixth pick in the 2019 draft has rushed for 197 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n
