The 40-year-old was left with very little breathing space and was totally outplayed.<\/p>\n<p>Montgomery pitched five-hit ball over 6 1\/3 innings, while Leody Taveras provided a two-run lead with his solo homer in the fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Rookie Evan Carter impressed once again as he made it 2-0 in the second, while also shining with two clinical defensive plays.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He just has so much confidence,&#8221; Texas manager Bruce Bochy said. &#8220;He\u2019s got the youthful enthusiasm and he\u2019s just excited to be here. He\u2019s not in awe of anything, just no fear in this kid since he\u2019s come up.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So far, the Rangers remain perfect in the playoffs with a score of 6-0.
