{"id":467388,"date":"2023-10-27T07:27:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-27T11:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=467388"},"modified":"2023-10-27T07:27:00","modified_gmt":"2023-10-27T11:27:00","slug":"onana-defends-garnacho-amid-racism-probe","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/onana-defends-garnacho-amid-racism-probe\/","title":{"rendered":"Onana defends Garnacho amid racism probe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Andr\u00e9 Onana has defended Red Devils teammate Alejandro Garnacho after the FA began a probe into a social media post made by the winger as he posted 2 gorillas above a picture of Onana.<\/p>\n<p>The Argentinian posted on X after the Cameroon goalkeeper saved a penalty in the last minutes to secure the Premier League side\u2019s 1-0 victory against FC Copenhagen in the UCL yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Alejandro deleted his publication very quickly after Manchester United advised him to do so, as some people can interpret his post as racist.<\/p>\n<p>The English football governing body is looking into the incident and has questioned Alejandro about his thoughts.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the Red Devils goalkeeper himself backed his Argentinian teammate:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Society can\u2019t decide what I should be offended by,&#8221; the goalkeeper shared on Instagram. &#8220;I know exactly what Alejandro meant: power and strength.
