NFL commissioner Roger Goodell revealed that Berlin has shown \u201ca lot of interest\u201d in hosting a game as the league plans to extend its agreement to play in Germany beyond 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cD\u00fcsseldorf, Berlin \u2014 there\u2019s been a lot of interest there \u2014 so I think they\u2019re all possibilities, yes,\u201d Goodell said on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Frankfurt is already hosting two games starting Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs play the Miami Dolphins at Deutsche Bank Park. Last year Munich hosted the first regular-season game.<\/p>\n
The NFL\u2019s current deal calls for one game next season \u2014 it\u2019s scheduled for Munich \u2014 and another in 2025, likely in Frankfurt.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have every intention to continue to play here,\u201d Goodell said. \u201cYou\u2019ve been an incredible part of our growth, you\u2019ve been part of our history of growing our game globally. We\u2019re going to continue to play here in some fashion.\u201d, he said before the mostly German crowd.<\/p>\n
