Jannik Sinner spoke to Corriere della Sera as he shared that he feels blessed to be a tennis player and that he misses Roger Federer on tour.<\/p>\n
“The pressure on me (as a player) is nothing compared to that on a surgeon or a guy who has to provide dinner for his family,” Sinner said. “It’s a real pressure – not knowing if a rocket is going to hit your house in five hours or five days. Playing tennis is something you have to feel blessed about.”<\/p>\n
“Tennis brings me happiness, but it’s normal to have doubts. It’s a privilege because it’s not for everyone; it’s wonderful to be part of the small group of players who have to deal with it.”<\/p>\n
“I’ve been lucky in my life, but I miss Federer. I accept it – it’s part of the game. Official matches are no longer possible, maybe in the future we will face each other in an exhibition match. However, I wouldn’t change anything: happy I am a tennis player from this era.
