Mauricio Pochettino has made an official apology to match official and Pep Guardiola for his rant at full-time after the 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n
Chelsea were on the backfoot, but showed character to come from behind on three occasions to snatch a point. However, Pochettino felt referee Anthony Taylor blew the final whistle inappropriately, wasting the Blues’ a good goalscoring opportunity.<\/p>\n
The Chelsea boss approached the Taylor angrily and had to be dragged by his coaching staff.<\/p>\n
Guardiola, meanwhile, was waiting for a handshake, but duo to the incident didn’t not get one and walked down the tunnel.<\/p>\n
“I need to apologise to Anthony and the referees and the fourth official.” Pochettino said.<\/p>\n
“In the moment, I felt that maybe Raheem [Sterling] can go through and go to score the fifth.”<\/p>\n
“I deserve to be booked because I crossed the limit. It\u2019s not a good image for me and for football, this type of behaviour.”<\/p>\n
