Marcus Rashford is enduring a difficult campaign, finding the back of the net only once in 16 starts for Manchester United.<\/p>\n
His struggles have been underlined in his performances for the national team as the 26-year-old was visibly under-par against Malta.<\/p>\n
That has led to claims from former Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood that the forward should be left out for the upcoming Euro 2024 next summer.<\/p>\n
Sherwood believes Red Devils manager Erik Ten Hag is the main culprit behind Rashford’s poor showing of late.<\/p>\n
“No, not a chance.” Sherwood said, when asked if Rashford should start for England<\/p>\n
“He can thank his manager for playing his way out of the England team, unfortunately.”<\/p>\n
