Patrick Kane is set to make a decision which team to join for the remainder of the season this week, reports say.<\/p>\n
The 35-year-old is still going through rehabilitation from his hip-resurfacing procedure in June and is expected to return mid-December.<\/p>\n
The team, which Kane will choose is still a mystery, as his name has been linked with many franchises – the Buffalo Sabres, Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs.<\/p>\n
According to Elliotte Friedman, the Panthers and the Red Wings are the most likely destination for Kane. He also hinted that the Vegas Golden Knights may have an interest in him.<\/p>\n
However, The Athletic’s Peter Baugh indicated that the Avalanches might emerge as candidates for Kane\u2019s signature. But he doesn’t think they’re among the top contenders for him.<\/p>\n
