The Premier League has agreed terms with Manchester City to schedule their trial over the 115 charges for next autumn.<\/p>\n
The two parties will face off in front of an independent panel in what shapes to be the biggest hearing in football’s history.<\/p>\n
An investigation has been opened since 2018 and it seems it will reach its conclusion towards the end of 2024.<\/p>\n
Those with deeper knowledge believe a final verdict will be given around 2025, which is when the contract of current manager Pep Guardiola expires.<\/p>\n
City are accused of breaching 115 regulations over 14 seasons from 2009-10 onwards.<\/p>\n
The charges include claims over financial reporting and a lack of co-operation with a Premier League investigation which was opened in 2018. The team so far has denied all of the accusations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
