Thomas Tuchel men controlled much of the possession and had plenty of chances, but were just lacklustre and clueless.<\/p>\n<p>Frankfurt were in front as early as the 12th minute through Omar Marmousch strike.<\/p>\n<p>Two quickfire goals gave the hosts a 3-0 lead l much to the shock of the Bavarians. Joshua Kimmich restored their hopes in the dying minutes of the first half as he nestled the ball past goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.<\/p>\n<p>But Eintracht showed no signs of stopping and a second goal from Eric Ebimbe and Ansgar Knauff compounded Thomas Tuchel&#8217;s side misery and rounded off the final scoreline.<\/p>\n<p>The heavy defeat means Bayern remain 3 points off the top with Bayer Leverkusen yet to play their game.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bayern suffered one of its worst defeats in history as the Bavarians were routed 5-1 from Eintracht Frankfurt on the road on Saturday.
