Sandro\u2019s 1<sup>st<\/sup> managerial position was at FSV Mainz 05 after being the team\u2019s Under-19 &amp; 2<sup>nd<\/sup> team\u2019s head coach, as well as to other clubs in the lower divisions of German football.<\/p>\n<p>At the helm of Mainz 05, where he held the job from the summer of 2017 until November 2019 before agreeing to become Dynamo Moscow head coach in Russia, where he spent almost 2 years from October 2020 to the summer of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>He became Hertha Berlin\u2019s head coach in July 2022.
