Kasper Schmeichel gave his high opinion of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and backed him up to have a success at Manchester United.<\/p>\n
The British billionaire is closing in on buying a 25% stake from the Red Devils, a highly-anticipated move, which dates back to November 2022.<\/p>\n
Schmeichel spent a season with Nice before his contract was terminated, but he has a very fond memories of Ratcliffe’s management.<\/p>\n
“It was a difficult year (at Nice),” Schmeichel said. “But without Jim, without Dave Brailsford (Ineos Director of Sport) and Josh Thompson I wouldn’t have been able to get through it.”<\/p>\n
“They were incredible, so supportive. I know first hand they have massive ambitions for Man United if they are to get it.”<\/p>\n
