The Red Wings player crosschecked Artem after a strike on Detroit captain Dylan Larkin and was given a match penalty for intent to hurt. Dylan was motionless on the ice after being struck by Mathieu Joseph and Parker Kelly of Ottawa.<\/p>\n<p>The NHL commissioner heard the Red Wings forward\u2019s appeal of the suspension at a hearing on December 19<sup>th<\/sup>.
