Thomas Partey is still not present at Arsenal’s training ground, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed.<\/p>\n

Partey has been sidelined since the Gunners’ 1-0 win over Manchester City on October 8 and rumors have emerged that he has returned.<\/p>\n

However, Arteta has confirmed that this is not the case and the midfielder will certainly miss Arsenal clash with West Ham United.<\/p>\n

“We’re not going to have those two (Partey and Tomiyasu), then we have the suspension of Kai [Havertz], so I think we’re gonna have five out, but we have lots of other players willing to play.” the Spaniard said.<\/p>\n

The African Cup of Nations kicks off at January 8 and it is unknown whether the Ghanian, who is expected to feature there, will be able to return in time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
