However, their enthusiasm was soon cut short as Burnley responded almost immediately thanks to a fine strike from Zeki Amdouni.<\/p>\n<p>The Birmingham team went forward, pressing high and their efforts were soon rewarded as Moussa Diaby made it 2-0 just at the stroke of half-time.<\/p>\n<p>The hosts received another boost as Vincent Kompany&#8217;s side was reduced to ten men as Sander Berge was dismissed for second booking.
