As I already shared with him, this firing was 1 of the toughest calls I&#8217;ve made as Controlling Owner.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mike\u2019s dismissal comes 1 year after Tennessee changed the GM position, appointing Ran Carthon.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As the league continues to innovate and evolve, I believe the franchises best positioned for sustained success will be the organizations that empower an aligned and collaborative team across all football functions.<\/p>\n<p>In the past campaign, we shifted our approach to football leadership and made a few changes to our personnel to release that plan.
