This spurred a search of the vehicle, which led to the discovery of a gun, as\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zA7ZSUx9kJ\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/zA7ZSUx9kJ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Complex (@Complex) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Complex\/status\/1752376338424422614?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">January 30, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Rajon (37) was pulled over in Indiana&#8217;s Jackson County because of a traffic violation when an officer smelled marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>They began searching Rondo\u2019s vehicle and found a firearm and drug paraphernalia. The former NBA point guard was taken to a jail in Indiana, where he paid a bond. Rajon was not allowed to possess a gun because he had a no-contact order vs. him.<\/p>\n<p>Two years ago, he had an emergency protective order filed by a woman dismissed after a \u2018mutual agreement.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>In the demand for the protective order, the woman claimed Rajon threatened her with a firearm and admitted that she was scared for the safety of her children.<\/p>\n<p>Rondo was part of the National Basketball League for 16 campaigns, last playing for the LA Lakers and the Cavs during the 2021-22 campaign.
