But first, he wants to take another shot at bringing a Lombardi Trophy to Detroit. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/lPg2Po33sx\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/lPg2Po33sx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TomPelissero\/status\/1752388531803050219?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">January 30, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Ben Johnson will continue to do his job as offensive coordinator in Detroit rather than pursue managerial vacancies at the Washington Commanders and the Seattle Seahawks.<\/p>\n<p>Washington officials were en route to Detroit for a meeting with Johnson and DC Aaron Glenn when they were told that Ben had decided to remain in his current position.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson held discussions for the head coaching position with the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, and LA Chargers, but all of these franchises decided to hire another candidate.<\/p>\n<p>For the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> consecutive campaign, Johnson was viewed as 1 of the most preferred names among National Football League head-coaching candidates.
