Roy left his managerial position hours before Palace are scheduled to face Everton.<\/p>\n<p>He was the oldest head coach in the league after coming out of retirement in the past campaign to help the side avoid relegation in 2022-23, but the Eagles are performing very poor since the beginning of the current campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Hodson final match as Crystal Palace boss was last week&#8217;s 3-1 loss against Chelsea, when the Eagles gave up a 1-goal halftime lead.
