Well, Araiza was drafted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bills?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#Bills<\/a> in 2022 and was soon released after allegations that he participated in the gang rape of a minor.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation ultimately suggested no charges be filed against Araiza, and\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/1giNxf8UFj\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/1giNxf8UFj<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Dawgs &#8211; A Cleveland Browns Podcast (@thedawgspodcast) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/thedawgspodcast\/status\/1761023003033321824?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">February 23, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are thankful to Brett Veach, manager Reid, and Kansas City for giving Araiza this chance,&#8221; agent Joe Linta shared on social media.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/nfl\/player\/tommy-townsend\/\">Tommy Townsend<\/a>, the organization\u2019s punter in each of the last 4 campaigns, is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in March. Tommy was 1<sup>st<\/sup>-team All-Pro and picked for the Pro Bowl 2 seasons ago.<\/p>\n<p>The girl, identified in the lawsuit as Jane Doe, dropped the punter from the lawsuit filed 2 years ago, and Matt agreed to dismiss a defamation suit vs. the girl in the past summer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m delighted to ink a deal with Kansas City,&#8221; Araiza shared. &#8220;I\u2019m happy to have the opportunity to continue my National Football League career. I want to thank my family and friends who supported me during the rough period I was away from the game.
