Although the Clippers narrowed the deficit to five with four consecutive points, back-to-back baskets from Portis solidified Milwaukee&#8217;s comeback.<\/p>\n<p>In the opening quarter, the Clippers jumped to a 27-23 lead, and timely triples from Daniel Theis and Bones Hyland extended their advantage to 10 points by the end of the period. Hyland&#8217;s buzzer-beating layup provided the Clippers with a 35-25 lead heading into the second quarter.<\/p>\n<p>After a back-and-forth start to the second quarter, Los Angeles held a 50-41 lead with 4:12 left in the first half.
