WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0) showed no sign of admiration for the records of WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0).<\/p>\n
“He’s had only five fights in the heavyweight category, and honestly, I wasn’t impressed,” Fury stated to The Stomping Ground.<\/p>\n
“Usyk does what he has to do, wins, and gets paid. He does his job and goes home. Is he good enough to beat the ‘Gypsy King’? I don’t think so, but good luck to him. If he does, I’ll shake his hand. My prediction for the fight? I’ll destroy him within seven rounds,” concluded Fury.<\/p>\n
Tyson Fury and Usyk were initially scheduled to meet in the ring on February 17, but the bout was postponed to May 18 due to a cut above Fury’s right eye sustained during sparring with a representative from the British Isles.<\/p>\n
